Living Stones Leadership Round Table in partnership with Totara Springs Christian Centre
SOUL CARE
Why is it that so many gifted and passionate leaders end up on the sidelines of ministry rather than finishing well? How can you avoid the pitfalls that face those who serve Christ and His church? What steps can you take that will propel you forward into a more faithful and fruitful ministry than you ever dreamed? How can you care for your soul so that you don’t flame out or brown out?
At this year’s Roundtable Conference we will address the vital topic of “Soul Care” in three ways: the need for Christian leaders to care for their own souls, the souls of individuals or small groups God has entrusted to them, and in the case of pastors and elders, the care of the whole congregation.
ROUND-the-TABLE
We call our conference a ‘Roundtable’ because we try to create opportunities for lots of one-on-one mentoring times and ‘round-the-table’ discussions. We design the conference with ample chances to process what is being taught. It has the feel of a relaxed leadership retreat, which is complemented by God-honouring times of worship. We suggest that you plan now to come with your leadership team. The topic will apply, however, equally well to you individually. A new feature this year will be workshops on the topic of Soul Care. These will be for Pastors, Elders, Women, and Ministry Leaders.
