Teens SNOW Camp


SNOW 2010

This Spring, Teens Camp is hitting the slopes at Whakapapa - Mt Ruaphehu. It is going to be cool, really cool! Come along and hang out with your mates and carve up this great mountain. We will be staying at a camp just a little way from the mountain and traveling up to the slope by bus. We will also be relaxing in the hot pools after a couple of long days on the mountain! This week is for both beginners and experts, so come on, you know you want to!
Dates: Sunday 3rd - Wednesday 6th October 2010

Drop off: 10:30am at Totara Springs
Pick up: 5:30pm at Totara Springs

Age Group: Ages 13-18 or school years 9 - 13
Cost: $180 + mountain costs*.
This includes:

Travel to base camp from Totara Springs and back
Travel from base camp to the mountain daily
All food
All accommodation
Afternoon at the hot pools
Value for money as a Totara Springs camp!

Auckland Bus: Available - $50 return (from Greenlane Christian Centre, Auckland)
Bus pick up: 8:30am from Greenlane Christian Centre
Bus drop off: 8:00pm at Greenlane Christian Centre
Other Information:
There is a ratio of 4:1 campers to leaders to ensure a safe and enjoyable time.

Discover Packages
If you've never skied or snowboarded before this is thepackage for you!
It includes:
Beginners' area lift pass (to ride the lifts in Happy Valley at Whakapapa)
Full day hire of skis, boots and poles or snowboard and boots
1 hr 50 min Discover ski or snowboard group lesson
One sightseeing chairlift ride (to ride the Centennial and Waterfall Express chairlifts at Whakapapa or the Park Lane Chairlift at Turoa as a foot passenger).

The Next Step Packages
If you've had one or two days on the snow and are ready tostart moving a little higher up the slopes the Next Step Package will get youthere. It includes:
Lower Mountain Day Pass
Full day hire of skis, boots and poles or snowboard and boots
1 hr 50 min Next Step ski or snowboard group lesson
